LPW - Unsigned Continental, verge fusee, 37mm, 18K gold (tested) OF original case with rear having a polychrome enamel image of a winged putto holding a floral cornucopia set against blue guilloche enamel, seed pearl set bezel and rear perimeter, engine turned gold dial with winding aperture at 2, KWKS (no key is included with this lot), verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#52 to rear of pendant. Gross weight of assembled watch 18.3 dwt (28.4 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few fine to micro-fine scratches, some ultra-fine scratch striations likely from a past light wiping; dial with few small bits of black enamel loss to numerals; fine mismatched hands; case shows little wear, no dents or dings, repair to lower-right perimeter of rear where lost enamel has been replaced with material of a lighter blue tone, all seed pearls present; tight bow, push shows light wear; clean plastic crystal.
